English Teacher Positions in Yangshuo
In China many families live in extreme poverty. This is especially true of the mountain villages of the Guilin/Yangshuo area of Guangxi Province where many farm families live a meager existence on a bit of land. They struggle to pay the school fees for their children to go to the local elementary school.
C.C.C. is dedicated to recruiting English teachers to expose the students to the English language, different cultures and the opportunity to mix with people from all over the world. For a few days, a week, or a month, volunteers to this beautiful region will have the experience of a lifetime. C.C.C. will arrange orientation and transportation. For giving a week or more of your time, accommodations and meals will be included in your assignment. The benefits to the children are many, besides being able to pass English exams to continue school, the ability to speak even a little English and to feel comfortable around foreigners will assure them of a job in tourist rich Yangshuo. Even a few hours a week learning Basic English and practicing what their Chinese English teachers have taught them will help tremendously.
Yangshuo/Guilin is ranked as the second most popular tourism area in China, second only to The Great Wall. Come and give your time to our Chinese children and have a rewarding holiday in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
